Community involvement is essential to the success of Nenthead Chapel Project; and by community we mean either people living in the area or people who will benefit from the facilities of the newly developed centre.

To succeed the Chapel has to be jointly owned by shareholders. Anybody can buy shares in the project, invest in a little bit of Nenthead and have a say in shaping the chapel’s future.

Nenthead Chapel Enterprise Limited (NCEL) is the name of the Community Benefit Society established to run the project and eventually, the new business. It was formed in 2014 and is now registered with the Financial Conduct Authority.
